Appreciating dad at home on Father’s Day this year is a simple, kind way to thank him for all he does. Make his day special by taking on all of your father’s responsibilities on Father’s Day — this is something he won’t be expecting. And, he’ll absolutely never forget the acknowledgement of all the work that he does for your family.
First, clean the house. And not just a simple straightening. Dust and wipe down all surfaces. Vacuum all floors. Make sure all the dishes and laundry are done and put away. Empty the trash in every room. Clean all the sports equipment, and organize the garage. Impress him with your diligence!
Next, take this cleaning frenzy to his car. Wash the outside, vacuum the inside. Clean the seats, dashboard and windows. Fill the tank with gas. Make sure his next ride is the nicest ride of the year.
Then there’s meal planning for the day. Make sure dad does nothing but enjoy what you make him for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Be sure to plan snacks too, that he can enjoy while he watches you mow and edge the lawn, sweep the walk and take out the garbage.
